Edited November 2021 for my most recent experience... I took my car in for a simple repair that any trained automotive service technician should have been able to complete. I gave them plenty of time and did not rush them. Being a retired certified master technician myself I offered any tips or advise about my car to the tech that performed the work. I have an older car and wanted to make sure he had all the info he needed to complete the job. Note I did not do the work my self due to the restrictions with other responsibilities in life. The result of this visit was that I brought the car in for a relatively simple preventive maintenance repair. I ended up have to tow my car to another facility because my car was not drivable, without causing more damage, after Honest-1 serviced my car. They didn't even know they had messed up the job. There were steps of the job that were done wrong. One of those mistakes/oversights caused the alignment to be pushed way out of specification. The job was scheduled to take 1 day. It ended up taking over a week to get the problems remedied and 2 days of time. One day to fix some of the problems myself and a second to get the alignment fixed at another shop... What was even more disappointing about this whole experience was that not once did any of the 4 different people I interacted with at Honest-1 apologize for their mistakes, they kept making excuses. Twice they offered to fix the problems. They scheduled those times. I called them at the end of those days and still had not done done repairs. I tried to show them grace and be as understanding as possible of there situation but ultimately they failed. Failures like these need to be made known so they have the knowledge and therefor the chance to improve. At this point in time I do not recommend this facility. It's not about a name on the building or even the people that work the front counter, it's about the person putting their hands on your car. It's up to them to decide to do a good job on your vehicle. My advice, find a good technician and follow them where ever they go. Hope the shop they work at will support them in doing good work. This is my old review... I've used them twice now and so far so good. No place is perfect but these guys try their best. They keep their explanations clear and honest.
