I would leave zero stars if possible. This company is not living up to their name. My son was priced $1100.00 to repair the left rear caliper on a 2009 jeep. When I called to ask for a price breakdown they told me over $800 for parts and 2.5 hrs labor at $118.00 per hour. and that "they were a for profit business". I priced the best parts with lifetime warranty at a local parts store that they use NAPA and they totaled up to $251.00. I get marking the parts up to make a profit but not 300%. When asked if they would install the parts if we bought them they refused. So he left with a faulty brake system. Sounds like there is a need for a truly honest garage in the Fort Mill area.
Mr. Farris. I apologize for you experience today. We did provide a no cost brake inspection today and showed your son the issues with the vehicles braking system. The quote was not just for a single brake caliper but also for replacing a brake hose, replacing both brake pads, brake rotors and also had a brake fluid exchange as the brake system would be required to be flushed after the caliper failure. We understand you can purchase parts on-line or at some retailers less expensive than we install. Our parts (not NAPA parts) that were recommended today were upgraded to heavy duty products as the Jeep Wrangler has been lifted with large tires. He did inquire about supplied part for the caliper only, which we responded that he would need to supply all parts required. Replacing only the caliper would not be safe as the brake pads were missing brake material and were metal to metal. We did have a concern with your son leaving our facility and told him that it was unsafe to drive but he chose to leave anyway. We stand behind our work and it is guaranteed nationwide and also has free Roadside Assistance with every purchase.
